Alexa’s adventure began when she moved to Corvallis, Oregon, ready for a fresh start. One of her first decisions was to adopt a dog—a really cool and crazy pup named Sadie, who quickly became her loyal sidekick and partner in crime.

Meanwhile, Brandyn had graduated from Oregon State University and started working at Block 15 Brewery, a local favorite. Life was good, but neither of them knew that fate had something special in store.

Two years later, thanks to a couple of mutual friends, their paths finally crossed at an Oregon State Beaver football tailgate. Brandyn broke the ice with an Amazon Alexa joke, and by the end of the day, Alexa had given Brandyn her number.

A few weeks later, it was time for their first official date. Alexa introduced Brandyn to Sadie over Thai food, a night they now fondly call their “Thai Chili Anniversary.” Sadie, always a great judge of character, gave Brandyn her enthusiastic stamp of approval—especially after he surprised Alexa with flowers at work the very next morning.

Just a month later, Alexa and Brandyn were meeting his family and realizing they were falling in love. From a chance encounter at a tailgate to a life full of laughter, love, and a little bit of craziness (thanks to Sadie), Alexa and Brandyn can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
